The Egg Harbor Township High School girls lacrosse team overcame a 9-7 halftime deficit to beat visiting Southern Regional 15-14 on Monday.

MacKenzie Meyer led the Eagles with five goals, and Lauren Angello added four in the win. Kelsey Miller made 13 saves in the win.

Southern's Allison Spaschak led all scorers with seven goals.

The Eagles start the season 2-0, while the Rams fell to 0-2.
