Southern Regional High School's John Puskas scored four goals to lead the Rams ice hockey team to a 6-0 win over visiting Toms River South on Friday at Winding River Ice Arena in Toms River. Southern is 4-0.

Puskas made it 1-0 with 31 seconds left in the first period and Tom Godfrey assisted. Godfrey scored the next goal with 11 minutes, 48 seconds left in the second period, and Sayer Zimmerman and Jeff Jillson assisted.

Ruskas scored two more goals in the period, including one while the Rams were shorthanded. T.J. Hawkins added a goal to make it 5-0 with 3:38 left in the period.

Jillson had three assists, while Godfrey and Zimmerman had two apiece.

CBA scored four goals in the first period of the Gordon Conference game at the Igloo Ice Arena in Mount Laurel.

St. Augustine's Tyler Wyatt scored with 1:30 left in the first period, and Austin Rann assisted. Prep goalie Dillon Gravenstine made 32 saves.
