She won the Group III state championship in the 800 meter run in 4 minutes, 56.06 and placed second in the 1,600, breaking five minutes for the first time in her career. She also broke the 800 meter (2:18.38) and 1,600 meter (5:00.6) records at the South Jersey Group III championships.

Won the S.J. Group IV championship in the 55 dash in 6.56. Came in second in the state Group IV championships (6.62). His 6.2 time was third at the Meet of Champions.

A.J. Dawson

Holy Spirit, Sr.

Won the state Non-Public B title in the 400 dash in 50.8 seconds.

Anthony Forrest

Buena Regional, Sr.

Came in second in the 400 dash at the state Group II championship in 50.56. He placed third at the South Jersey Group II finals (51.60).

Rahim Harris

Holy Spirit, Sr.

Won the 55 dash in 6.60 seconds at the state Non-Public B championship. Was a part of the sprint medley relay that won a state championship in 3:56.49.


Vincent Del Conte

Egg Harbor Township, Jr.

Won the South Jersey Group II 3,200 run (9.51.53) and the South Jersey Track Coaches Association 1,600 run (4:37.09).

Louis Corgliano

Hammonton, Sr.

Came in third in the 1,600 meters with a personal best time of 4:21.09 at the state Group III championships. Placed fourth at the South Jersey Group III (4:22.84).

Bridget Flynn

Ocean City, Sr.

Finished 19th (2:14.64) in the 800 meters at the New Balance Indoor National Championships at the Armory in New York. Her time broke her own school record of 2:15.09 set earlier this winter. Finished fourth at the Meet of Champions in 2:15.11.

Ishmael Muhammad

Oakcrest, Sr.

Set two meet records at the S.J. Group II championship. He won the 400 in 50.84 seconds, breaking the old meet mark of 51.15. He took the 1,600 in 4:22.62 , erasing the old record of 4:24.38 by Barnegat's Matt Nelson in 2010. He also finished second in the 800.

Lauren Zodl

Pinelands Regional, Jr.

Won at the S.J. Group II finals in the 3,200 with a time of 11:58.69.


Ocean City girls distance medley

Set a school record at the National Championships. The foursome of Epiphany Grisbaum, Cierra Granger, Rachel Stremme and Bridget Flynn finished eighth with a time of 12:02.51. Flynn ran her 1,600 anchor leg in 4:57.16 and Grisbaum ran a 3:48.58 opening 1,200 leg. Won the state Group III title at the relay championships.

Nyla Noble

Egg Harbor Township, Sr.

Came in first in the shot put at the SJTCA with a put of 36-5. Came in second at the S.J. Group IV championships (37-11.25) and second at state Group IV with a personal best 40-10.

Kaitlyn Dermen

Millville, Sr.

At the South Jersey Group IV meet, Dermen broke a meet record in the pole vault with a height of 11 feet, 1 inch. She pole vaulted 11 feet to tie for sixth at the Meet of Champions.

Ryan Givens

Ocean City, Jr.

He finished second in the state Group III championships with a high jump of 6 feet, four inches, and placed eighth at the Meet of Champions, clearing 6-2.
