Lacey Township High School quarterback Tom Kelly has decided to attend and play football for Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pa., coach Lou Vircillo said.

Kelly, a second-team Press All-Star this past season, led all schools in southern Ocean, Cape May, Cumberland and Atlantic counties with 20 touchdown passes in 2013.

According to Vircillo, Kelly will graduate this season holding the school records for passing yards, touchdowns and completions, as well as passing touchdowns and yards in a single season.

He led the Lions to a 10-1 season and a Shore Conferecne A South Championship.

Carnegie Mellon is an NCAA Division III school and was 3-7 last year as a member of the University Athletic Association.
