Rachel Hartledge had a double and four RBIs to help Somers Point defeat Greater Wildwood 14-4 in a District 16 11- and 12-year-old softball all-star game on Friday.

Kathryn Hutton doubled and had two RBIs for Somers Point.

Northfield 16, Upper Township 6: The Northfield 12-year-old softball team defeated Upper Township in five-innings via the 10-run rule in Somers Point in a District 16 losers bracket game.

Northfield had 16 hits, including doubles by Alencia Yeoman, Kelsey Dewees, Mackenzie Mindish and Moria Haberkern. Yeoman made an unassisted double play at third base to end the game in the bottom of the fifth inning. Gigi Matta was the winning pitcher.

For Upper Township, Keani Hindle went 2-for-3 with a triple, and Amelia Morin was 3-for-3.

Northfield plays Greater Wildwood at 7 p.m. on Sunday at Hammonton Lake Park.

Other scores: District 3 baseball: 9-10-East Vineland 13, Buena 1; Alloway 9, South Vineland 8; Pennsville 17, North Vineland 7, four innings. 11-12-West Cumberland 5, Buena 2; Woodstown 9, Alloway 8. Senior-East Vineland 16, Buena 0, five innings.

District 3 softball: 9-10-Northwest Cumberland 11, Pilesgrove 0, 3½ innings. 11-12-Pennsville 15, Pilesgrove 0; West Cumberland 27, Salem 0, 4 innings.
