Ramon Galloway and Tyreek Duren scored 17 points apiece as La Salle used a big first-half run to pull away from Pennsylvania en route to a 74-57 win Saturday in Philadelphia.

Tyrone Garland added 15 points and Jerrell Wright posted a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Explorers (10-3), who are now 2-0 this season against Big 5 foes. La Salle also beat Villanova 77-74 in overtime on Nov. 25.

Leading 17-16, the Explorers launched a 15-2 run, with Garland hitting three 3-pointers and scoring 11 points in the spurt.

La Salle, which led by as many as 24 in the second half, hit 9 of 22 from long range in its final game before starting Atlantic 10 Conference play.

Reserve Tony Hicks scored 14 points and Dau Jok had 11 rebounds for the Quakers (2-11), who shot 36.1 percent (22 of 61) in losing their sixth straight game.

Towson 69, Drexel 66

In Philadelphia, Jerrelle Benimon posted his ninth double-double of the season and Towson defeated Drexel in Colonial Athletic Conference action.

Marcus Damas tallied 13 points and eight rebounds while Jerome Hairston and Mike Burwell added 12 apiece. Benimon, a transfer from Georgetown, finished with 18 points and 16 rebounds.

Drexel was led by 17 points from Frantz Massenat.

Saint Joseph's 70, Morgan State 60

In Baltimore, Carl Jones scored 17 points and Ronald Roberts posted a double-double as Saint Joseph's won its third straight game, beating Morgan State in a nonconference matchup.

Langston Galloway played all 40 minutes and scored 16 points, Roberts finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds and Halil Kanacevic pulled down 12 boards for Saint Joseph's (8-4), which recorded a season-high 50 rebounds.

DeWayne Jackson led Morgan State (3-8) with 16 and Ian Chiles had 10, but the Bears shot just 30 percent (24 of 79) in the loss.

Princeton 74, Elon 64

In Elon, N.C., Ian Hummer scored 28 points and Will Barrett scored all 17 of his in the first half as Princeton defeated Elon in a nonconference game.

Barrett connected five times from 3-point range for the Tigers (6-7), who were 6-for-8 behind the arc in the first half and led 41-32 at the break.

Hummer scored 16 first-half points, and the senior forward moved into seventh place on Princeton's career scoring list with 1,381, passing Bob Scrabis (1985-89).

Hummer made 10 of 16 shots in the game.

Jack Isenbarger scored 16 points and Lucas Troutman 14 to pace Elon (8-6), which never led. The Phoenix won 56-55 at Princeton last season and had beaten their two previous Ivy League opponents this season, Dartmouth and Columbia.

Isenbarger made two 3-pointers to move into a tie for fifth with Chris Long (2007-11) on Elon's career list with 172.
