The Richard Stockton College baseball team defeated Kean University 11-6 in a New Jersey Athletic Conference matchup on Thursday.

The Ospreys were led by George Eisenhart, who went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two runs and an RBI. Andy Oliver also went 3-for-5 with two RBIs and a run scored for Stockton.

Stockton will play next today at Kean starting at 3:30 p.m.

Stockton softball: The Ospreys were swept by Kean in a doubleheader. Stockton fell 5-3 in the first game and 3-2 in the second.

Kelly Moorehead led the Ospreys in the early game, going 3-for-3 with five RBIs and a home run.

Courtney Yard went 2-for-4 with two RBIs in the late game for Kean.

The Ospreys will travel to New Jersey City University to play a doubleheader Saturday with the first game starting at 1 p.m.

Atlantic Cape Softball: The Buccaneers swept Luzerne County (Pa.) Community College in a doubleheader Wednesday. The Buccaneers took the first game 6-3 and the second game 7-6. Samantha Sweeney went 4-for-5 with two runs for ACCC. Shannon Kemmerer hit a two-run double for the Bucs. In the second game, Amanda Campbell doubled and brought in two runs. Kemmerer picked up the win, striking out nine.
