The host Richard Stockton College women's cross country team, led by race winner Morgan Sinclair, won the New Jersey Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women Meet on Saturday in Galloway Township.

Stockton's James Rivers (Barnegat) won the 8K Osprey Open men's race by 24 seconds in 26 minutes, 23.07 seconds at Stockton. The Ospreys were second in the team scoring.

Sinclair won the 6K women's race by 32 seconds in 23:09.98 for her fourth career victory. The Ospreys took the team title on a tiebreaker with Ramapo University.

Cassandra Hrusko was sixth for the Ospreys women in 25:04.19, and teammate Laura Warren was seventh in 25:05.51.

The Stockton teams return to action Oct. 12 at the DeSales Invitational at noon.

Stockton women's tennis: The Ospreys (6-1 overall, 3-1 NJAC) won five of six singles matches and swept the three doubles matches to beat visiting Kean 8-1. Sam Koropchak, Kristy Faren and Sydni Fahringer (Mainland Regional) led the Ospreys with victories in both singles and doubles.

Krystle Bendijo (Egg Harbor Township) and Laura Church won the closest doubles match with an 8-5 victory. Gianna Letinski (Barnegat) improved to 7-0 with a 6-0, 6-1 singles win.

The Ospreys travel to Gwynedd Mercy at 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Stockton men's soccer: The Ospreys (4-2-2 overall, 0-1 NJAC) lost 2-0 to visiting Kean on goals by Sheldon Palmer and Kevin Olaya. Stockton goalie Bob Millar had seven saves. Stockton's best opportunity came when Anthony Colafranson hit the post in the 30th minute and then shot the rebound high.

Stockton field hockey: Haverford (Pa.) beat visiting Stockton 4-2. Susie Balidemaj and Brittany Iveson (Barnegat) scored for the Ospreys (4-3). Catherine Aronowitz scored twice for the Fords (3-3). Stockton travels to Rowan on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. game.

Cumberland County College men's soccer: The Dukes lost 3-2 in overtime against the County College of Morris. AJ Gazzara (Buena Regional) scored both goals for Cumberland, with Cornel Lawrence (Cumberland Regional) getting an assist. Goalie Brandon Bischer (Cumberland Regional) had five saves for the Dukes. Cumberland County travels to Camden on 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
