Brittany Iveson scored with just a little more than two minutes remaining in the game to give the Richard Stockton College field hockey team its first victory of the season, 3-2 over host Wesley College (Del.).
Iveson (Barnegat High School) scored twice for the Ospreys (1-3), who rallied from a 2-0 first-half deficit with three unanswered goals. Susie Balidemaj also scored, and she and Alicia Leadbeater each had an assist.
Hannah Wilson and Madison Leone scored for Wesley (1-2).
Stockton begins New Jersey Athletic Conference play Tuesday with a 7:30 p.m. road game at The College of New Jersey.

Stockton cross country: The Ospreys' men's and women's squads took third and fourth place, respectively, at the Fordham Fiasco at Van Cortlandt Park in New York.
The men were third among 13 NCAA Division II, III and junior college teams. Senior Randy Faiges finished eighth among 119 men in the 8K in 27 minutes, 57.32 seconds.
Meanwhile, the women were fourth out of 12 teams. Junior Morgan Sinclair led the Ospreys with a sixth-place finish out of 136 runners in the 5K (20:03.47).
Stockton tennis: The Ospreys (2-0) defeated host Immaculata University 8-1. Stockton swept the singles matches, led by Krystle Bendijo (Egg Harbor Township), who won her first-singles match over Paige Sparks 6-1, 6-0.
Bendijo teamed up with Laura Church to win at first doubles, and Sydni Fahringer (Mainland Regional) and Kristy Faren won at second singles.
Stockton women's soccer: Stockton lost for the first time this season, a 1-0 loss to Virginia Wesleyan during the Christopher Newport Tournament (Va.). Virginia Wesleyan is ranked No. 16 by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Breanne Ingargiola scored the Marlins' only goal in a defensive battle. Sarah Hinkle made three saves for Stockton.

Stockton men's soccer: The host Ospreys tied Babson College (Mass.) 0-0 in two overtimes in Galloway Township in a game played in heavy rain during the extra periods.
Stockton outshot Babson 13-9. Stockton goalie Bob Millar had two saves and Beavers keeper Stephen Donato had five saves.

Cumberland County College women's soccer: The Dukes (1-1) defeated Frederick County College (Md.) 2-0. Sophomore Francesca Arcara (Cumberland Regional) scored in the first half off a rebound from her own shot.
Sophomore Holly Schaper also scored. Sophomore goalkeeper Meghan McMahon (Cumberland Regional) made eight saves in her first career shutout.
