The Richard Stockton College field hockey team scored twice in the final 12 minutes and beat host Swarthmore College 3-2 on Thursday in Swarthmore, Pa.

Stockton junior Colleen Knight scored her second goal of the game to tie it with 11 minutes, 38 seconds left, and Alicia Leadbeater scored the winning goal with 2:03 remaining.

The win was the first of the season for the Ospreys, who evened their record at 1-1.

Stockton's Susie Balidemaj had two assists, including an assist on the gamewinner. Stockton goalie Liz Stankiewicz had six saves.

The Ospreys' next game is at Albright (Pa.) at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Stockton women's tennis: The visiting Ospreys won all three doubles matches and beat host Georgian Court College 6-3 in Lakewood. Stockton's Sam Koropchak and Laura Church led the way with victories in both singles and doubles.

Church and Krystle Bendijo (Egg Harbor Township) won 8-2 at first doubles. Scout Bauer and Sydni Fahringer (Mainland Regional) won 8-4 at third doubles. Teammate Gianna Letinski (Barnegat) won 6-1 6-0 at No. 6 singles.

Stockton improved to 2-0. Their next match is 1 p.m. Saturday vs. Immaculata.
