The Richard Stockton College softball team swept the College of New Jersey in a doubleheader Tuesday, winning 5-3 in the first game and 9-3 in the second.

Sophomore infielder Samantha Shockey and senior catcher Nicole Chabak had five hits apiece in the games.

Shockey also hit her first home run, a three-run shot, as an Osprey in the second game.

Stockton will host Rutgers-Newark on Saturday in a New Jersey Athletic Conference doubleheader starting at 1 p.m.

Stockton women's lacrosse: The Ospreys won their sixth straight game, beating Cedar Crest 19-2.

Zoey Kramer led the Ospreys (8-1) with five goals. Nicole Miller and Carlie Flake added three apiece.

Stockton travels to Montclair State on Saturday for a 1 p.m. game.
