Local college roundup: Stockton volleyball team continues NJAC dominance

The Richard Stockton College women's volleyball team rolled to its 25th consecutive win over a New Jersey Athletic Conference opponent with a 3-0 rout of host Ramapo on Thursday.

Stockton, which had a season-best .351 team hitting percentage, won by game scores of 25-12, 25-8, 25-15.

Kasey Hennecke led the Ospreys with 16 kills and nine digs. Stephanie Warner tallied nine kills and four blocks and Ashley Gubista had 16 digs.

Setter Shannon Clark recorded a team-high 19 assists, followed by setter Mayan Alvarado with 17.

Atlantic Cape women's volleyball: Sarah Street (Cape May Tech) had two kills, four aces, 10 digs and 11 assists as the Buccaneers beat Community College of Philadelphia 3-0. Game scores were 25-22, 25-11 and 25-12. Kerry Player (Cape May Tech) added two kills and three blocks. Kelli Dilks and Niesha Reid contributed with four kills each.

Cumberland County College women's soccer: Meghan McMahon (Cumberland Regional) made six saves in a 1-0 loss to Raritan Valley Community College in a Region 19 game. Raritan scored in the 40th minute. Cumberland dropped to 1-4.
