Three Richard Stockton athletes received weekly awards from their conferences Monday.

Eric Leonard was named Skyline Conference Men's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week for the third time this season. The freshman goalie currently ranks third in the Skyline with a 7.18 goals against average.

Carlie Flake was selected the New Jersey Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week. The midfielder ranks second on the team with 40 points, 30 goals and 39 draw controls.

Emily Higbee (Holy Spirit High School) wasn named the NJAC Rookie of the Week title in women's track and field. The freshman thrower placed fourth with a personal-best javelin throw of 40.41 meters and placed seventh in shot put with a distance of 11.39 meters at the TCNJ Invitational on Saturday.

Atlantic Cape baseball: The Buccanneers split a doubleheader with Luzerne (Pa.) Community College on Sunday, losing 17-2 and then winning 14-5 in Margate.

Nick Harring and Brian Khoury both hit a solo homer in the first game. Atlantic Cape's Eric Coyle gave up no earned runs over the final four innings in his collegiate debut.

In the second game, Andrew Meyers and Khoury each had three hits and two RBIs. Winning pitcher Kurt Hamby had two hits, including a double, and drove in three runs. Hamby struck out nine in a complete game.

The Buccaneers are now 6-13 on the season.
