Jesse Hunt led Richard Stockton College with 13 points and five rebounds as they defeated Montclair State University 76-53 at home in a New Jersey Athletic Conference men’s basketball game Thursday.

Kevin Johnson also scored 13 points. Rich Suhr and Rameel Johnson each added eight points for the Ospreys.

Stockton women’s basketball: Che’Na Thompson led the Ospreys with 12 points in an 81-46 loss to Montclair State.

Atlantic City graduate Tiana Cannon played in her first game for Stockton after transferring from Division I Radford University. Cannon scored 10 points and had four rebounds.

Sara Farrell had a team-high eight rebounds for Stockton.

Taylor Jeffers scored a game-high 25 points and had 10 rebounds for Montclair.

Atlantic Cape women’s basketball: The Bucs dropped to 7-8 with a 76-48 loss to Passaic County Community College. Atlantic Cape’s leading scorer was Arlene Craig (Absegami) with 18 points. Darice Collier (Absegami) added eight points and four steals.

Atlantic Cape men’s basketball: Armin Cane (Pleas-antville) scored 25 points, had 18 rebounds, six assists and four steals as the Buccaneers beat Passaic County College 96-88. Cesar Sandoval (Absegami) added 21 points in the win.
