A.J. Holland (Holy Spirit) is scheduled to be the starting pitcher tonight for the Lynchburg HillCats (Braves) in a game at the Wilmington (Del.) Blue Rocks (Royals) in the Class-A Advanced Carolina League. First pitch at Frawley Stadium is set for 6:35 p.m. Holland is 3-1 with a 3.00 ERA in eight starts this season.

Matt Szczur (Lower Cape May Regional) went 1-for-4 (double) with a run scored and two RBIs for the Tennessee Smokies (Cubs) in a 9-2 win over the Chattanooga Lookouts (Dodgers) in the first game of a doublehader in the double-A Southern League. He went 0-for-4 in a 1-0 loss in the second game. Szczur, an outfielder, is hitting .295 in 41 games.

Darren Ford (Vineland) did not play for the Indianapolis Indians (Pirates) in an 8-4 win over the Pawtucket Red Sox in the triple-A International League. Ford, an outfielder, is batting .247 in 24 games.

Scott DeCecco (Middle Township) is 3-4 with a 3.14 ERA in eight starts for the Clinton LumberKings (Mariners) in the Peoria Chiefs (Cardinals) in the Class-A Midwest League. His last start was Friday.
