Darren Fischer (Cumberland Regional) pitched one scoreless inning for the Princeton Rays (Tampa Bay) in an 8-0 loss to the Elizabethton Twins in the rookie-level Appalachian League on Friday night.

Fischer pitched the seventh inning, allowing one hit and one walk while striking out one to keep the score 1-0. The Twins scored seven runs the next inning.

Fischer is 0-1 with a 3.86 ERA in three relief appearances.
