Football sign ups
The Absecon Blue Devils football organization will hold conditioning camp every Tuesday and Thursday beginning today, June 26, at 6 p.m. The camp is free to attend, and there will also be football signups for ages 7-14 on the same nights which cost $70. Atlantic City High School Hall of Fame Nominations
Atlantic City High School is now accepting nominations for its 7th Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Nominations be made by calling ACHS Athletic Office at (609)343-7300 (x2010) or contacting Jay Hurley at (609)457-8449 or runjh@comcast.net.
Criteria to be eligible for nomination are as follows:
Athletes must be 10 years removed from graduation. Coaches must have coached at Varsity level for a minimum of five years after conclusion of season. Team must be five years after conclusion of season. Female accomplishments during the period before interscholastic competition (1969). Other outstanding contributers who have provided extraordinary services to Atlantic City athletics.
The deadline for accepting nominations is December 31, 2012. The induction ceremony will be held on May 5, 2013.
