Surf ace Cox glad to be back from latest setback
By SUSAN LULGJURAJ Staff Writer, 609-272-7187
Published: Aug 21, 2008

Adam Cox is about as unlucky as they come. Every time the Atlantic City Surf left-hander makes a move toward another level, he suffers a setback.

Cox had his latest problem July 26, this time with major-league scouts in the stands.

But for once, he was relatively lucky. It was just a strained oblique.

"It was a lot better than being my elbow," the 28-year-old said. "I didn't even know (the scouts) were here. When you do well for a while, you figure some people are going to come. I was upset, but it happens." More
