The professional and amateur levels of boxing will both be on display Saturday night.

North Jersey-based promoter Vito Mielnicki of GH3 Promotions is staging a pro card at The Claridge — A Radisson Hotel in Atlantic City. Vineland’s David Anthony, founder of Vila Boxing, is holding an amateur show at the Landis Theater in Vineland.

Eight fights are scheduled at The Claridge, including a six-rounder pitting Brick Township heavyweight Dan Pasciolla (9-2-1, 0 KOs) against Jersey City’s Tyrell Wright (9-0-1, 6 KOs).

Pasciolla, who trains at Gladiator Boxing in Lacey Township, will be making his eighth appearance in Atlantic City. The 31-year-old is coming off a six-round, split decision win over Lemarcus Tucker (4-2, 2 KOs), of Forrest City, Arkansas, at The Claridge last month.

Wright, 30, made his pro debut at Bally’s Atlantic City in 2012.

In the main event, unbeaten Philadelphia super-lightweight Keenan Smith (10-0, 4 KOs) will take on Filipino veteran Edgar Gabejan (27-33-7, 9 KOs) in an eight-rounder. Gabejan, 35, is 4-4-2 in his last 10 bouts.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the first bout scheduled for 7 p.m. Tickets range from $50 to $150 and can be purchased by calling 856-842-7577 or at The Claridge’s Celebrity Theater box office.

According to Vila Boxing promotions director Anthony Parisi Sanchez, more than 450 tickets have been sold for its second amateur show of the year Saturday.

Former Junior Olympic boxer Richard Portalatin is scheduled to fight in the main event. Eighteen to 20 total bouts featuring fighters in various stages of their amateur careers will be held.

Tickets range from $35 to $50 and are available by calling 609-470-3043 and will also be sold at the door. The Landis Theater will open at 5 p.m., with the fights starting at 6:15 p.m.
