Tara Booker (Absegami) had 12 points, eight rebounds, three blocks and one steal for eighth-seeded George Washington in a 74-49 semifinal loss to top-seeded Dayton in the Atlantic 10 Conference tournament in Philadelphia on Saturday. Sara Mostafa (Absegami) had five points, seven rebounds, one assist and one steal for GW. On Friday in a quarterfinal against ninth-seeded Richmond, Booker had nine points, 12 rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal in a 59-53 victory. Mostafa had eight points, four rebounds and two blocks. Booker finished with 1,180 points, 19th on the school’s all-time list, and 814 rebounds, sixth on the list. The Colonials finished 14-16 for their most wins since 2009.

Kristen Sharkey (Southern Regional) had 10 points, eight rebounds, two steals and two assists for Buffalo in a 56-46 Mid-American Conference first-round win over Northern Illinois in Buffalo, N.Y., on Saturday.

Ashley Durham (Sacred Heart) had 10 points, three rebounds, two assists and one steal for seventh-seeded Canisius in a 76-58 loss to second-seeded Iona in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference first-round game in Springfield, Mass., on Friday.

B.J. Bailey (Holy Spirit) had 10 points, five rebounds and two assists for Lehigh in an 82-69 loss to Lafayette in Easton, Pa.

Ryan Brooks (Holy Spirit) had two points and one rebound for Rhode Island in a 75-66 loss to Massachusetts in Kingston, R.I.

Gene Teague (Vineland resident) had 11 points and eight rebounds for Seton Hall in a 56-51 loss to Rutgers in Newark, N.J., on Friday.

Isaiah Morton (St. Augustine Prep) had three points and three assists for Marist in a 70-64 loss to Siena in the MAAC Tournament in Springfield, Mass., on Friday.
