"It is with great regret that I inform everyone that Camden County College will not be able to finish out the remainder of the 2014-15 women’s basketball season," said William J. Banks, the school's director of athletics. "Lack of prospective women’s basketball players and grades have left us with three eligible student-athletes for the remainder of the season. After exhausting all avenues to obtain additional eligible student-athletes for the remainder of the season came up short, we are left with no other choice but to cancel the rest of the season. "

Atlantic Cape Community College was scheduled to play Camden at 7 p.m. on Thursday. The men's game is on as scheduled, according to Mike Rennick, the Atlantic Cape director of athletics.
