The College of New Jersey’s James O’Connor (Ocean City) finished fifth in the long jump (5.80 meters) and seventh in the high jump (1.84 meters) at the New York University Challenge at the 168th Armory in New York on Saturday
The Lions finished sixth in with 46. Manhattan College won with 99.
Women’s indoor track
Rowan senior Lisa Jones (Oakcrest) took third in the 3,000-meter run at the Collegeville Classic at Ursinus College.
The Profs finished third among 16 schools.
Ice hockey
Sophomore Kevin Crowe (St. Augustine Prep) added an insurance goal on a power play in the third period as Wentworth Institute of Technology defeated Curry 3-1.
