The Atlantic Cape Community College men’s basketball team defeated visiting Passaic County Community College 75-63 Saturday in Mays Landing.
Armin Cane (Pleasantville) led with 34 points and had eight rebounds. Cesar Sandoval (Absegami) added 15 points, and Nate Brown (Atlantic City) had 12.
Atlantic Cape Community women’s basketball: Passaic County Community College beat the host Buccaneers 63-60. For Atlantic Cape (1-2), Arlene Craig (Absegami) scored a career-high 25 points.
Cumberland County College women’s basketball: The Dukes (4-0) defeated visiting Bergen County College 82-59 in Vineland.
Alicia Cox (Vineland) scored 20 points and had 14 rebounds, 10 steals and eight assists. Cumberland’s Tess Elder had 16 points and five rebounds.
