Freshman Guy Loggi (Mainland Regional) scored three goals in his collegiate debut as Richard Stockton College beat host Arcadia 8-2 in a men's lacrosse game in Glenside, Pa., on Wednesday.

Freshman Vincent Ma-nasia added two goals in the Ospreys' season opener, while Robert Krais dished two assists. Nick Bologno, Drew Wright and Connor DeCicco each contributed one goal.

Freshman goalie Kevin Eipel made five saves.

NJAC women's basketball awards: Stockton senior Che'Na Thompson was named to the New Jersey Athletic Conference first team and sophomore Alex Nardoza earned honorable mention.

Thompson leads Stockton in scoring (14.1 points per game), rebounds (8.8) and blocks (1.2) and is second on the team in steals (2.5). The senior forward ranks in the top nine of the NJAC in six categories, including fourth in scoring and rebounds, fifth in blocks, sixth in free-throw percentage (.728), eighth in field-goal percentage (.411) and ninth in steals.

Thompson is fourth all-time at Stockton in career rebounds (672), steals (200) and blocks (100), and seventh in in points (1,178).

Nardoza is the only Osprey to have started all 25 games. The point guard leads the team in assists (4.56 per game) and steals (2.8).
