New York University defeated Richard Stockton College 4-2 on penalty kicks to win the ECAC Metro men’s soccer title in New York on Sunday.
The game was 1-1 after two overtimes. Stockton outshot NYU 9-1 in the two extra periods.
Senior Anthony Procopio scored the first goal of the game for Stockton.
NYU tied the game with Billy Cordova’s goal with 5 minutes, 27 seconds remaining in the game.

Stockton women’s soccer: The Ospreys lost 2-1 in overtime to Kean University in the ECAC Metro final.
Briana Fischer scored the tying goal for the Ospreys with a 11/2 minutes left in regulation.
The Cougars took a 1-0 lead early in the second half with Carly Seidel’s goal. Seidel then scored the winning goal with 4:43 left in overtime.
