The Atlantic Cape Community College baseball team dropped a doubleheader to Middlesex County Comunity College on Sunday at Jerome Avenue Field in Margate.

Middlesex won the first game 7-2 and took game two 6-1.

Daniel Nicolaisen singled in a run for Atlantic Cape in the fourth inning of the first game. Losing pitcher Andrew Meyers (Ocean City) started the game and gave up six runs in six innings, including two earned, and struck out six.

Atlantic Cape’s Brian Richardson (Mainland Regional) was 2-for-3 with an RBI in the second game, and Jim Norris (Wildwood Catholic) was 1-for-2 with a double and a run.

Atlantic Cape fell to 3-5.
