PRINCETON — Princeton limited Brown to 17 yards rushing and 242 in total offense en route to a 19-0 victory in an Ivy League game on Saturday.

The Tigers (3-2, 2-0 Ivy League) used a balanced offense — gaining 194 yards rushing and 186 passing — to keep the Bears (3-2, 0-2) at bay.

It was Princeton’s third consecutive victory.

Connor Michelson threw for 156 yards. Will Powers and Spenser Huston, on his only carry of the day, each ran for touchdowns.

Princeton ended an Ivy League record 162-game scoring streak by Brown. It was Princeton’s first shutout since the final game of the 2005 season.

Princeton’s defense limited the Bears’ Patrick Donnelly to 25-of-50 passing for 225 yards, intercepted him twice and sacked him six times. Donnelly was minus-41 yards rushing.

The Tigers’ Caraun Reid had four tackles for loss, one of which resulted in a safety, and 2.5 sacks.
