PHILADELPHIA — Daniel Stewart scored 21 points to lead Rider to a 75-66 come-from-behind nonconference men’s basketball victory over Drexel on Saturday.

The Broncs (5-4) trailed by nine points, 46-37, in the second half before running off 14 in a row to lead 51-46 with 8 minutes, 57 seconds remaining.

The Dragons (2-5) never led again, but they tied the game 60-60 with 4:01 to play on two free throws by Damion Lee, who finished with 28 points and eight rebounds. A jumper by Nurideen Lindsey gave Rider the lead for good, 62-60, at the 2:38 mark and started an 11-2 run.

Rider, which trailed 31-30 at halftime, shot 64 percent (16-of-25) in the second half to Drexel’s 37.9 percent (11-of-29).

Jonathon Thompson added 14 points and four steals for the Bronc, Lindsey scored 12 and Anthony Myles had seven points and eight rebounds.
