Stockton University’s men’s soccer team (5-7-4) defeated Ursinus (4-9) 2-1 for its third straight win Tuesday night. Nick Cristea scored one goal and had one assist to lead the Ospreys. Freshman Christian Bik (Vineland/St. Augustine Prep) scored his first career goal.

Bik was assisted by Cristea on his first goal 21 minutes, 38 seconds into the match. Cristea scored the game-winner shortly after off an assist from Anthony Colofranson.

Stockton’s goalkeeper Michael Lescano made two saves.

Stockton will play its next match at New Jersey City at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Stockton volleyball: The Ospreys (18-9, 6-1 NJAC) swept New Jersey City (11-12, 0-7 NJAC) 25-11, 25-19, 25-5 at home. Jenna Lara had eight kills and four blocks to lead the Ospreys.

Lindsay Schuele added seven kills, and Idi Uffen and Stephanie Kovacs added six kills apiece. Jessica Ciandella and Kennedy Hubbard put up 17 and 14 assists, respectively.

Stockton will compete in the Swarthmore Garnet Classic this weekend, starting against DeSales at 4 p.m. and Catholic at 5 p.m.

Stockton field hockey: The Ospreys (6-8, 0-4 NJAC) fell to The College of New Jersey (11-3, 5-0 NJAC) 6-1.

Emily McNeill scored the only goal for the Ospreys off a scramble in front of the net. Emily Sorochynskyj made 16 saves.

Elizabeth Morrison scored three goals for TCNJ.

Stockton’s next game will be at home against Ramapo College at 1 p.m. Saturday.
