Stockton University’s Sasha Williams earned the NJAC Player of the Week honor in women’s basketball for her performance last week. Williams, the defending NJAC Defensive Player of the Year, earned her first NJAC weekly award this season.

Williams had her first double-double of the year in Stockton’s 70-64 win over Rowan on Nov. 21.

The senior had 13 points, a game-high 16 rebounds, nine blocks, five assists and two steals.

This season, Williams has 10 points per game with a league-high 11 rebounds per game. She tops the NJAC in blocks (5.3 bpg) and ranks fourth in free throw percentage (.857).

She is sixth in assists (4.0 apg) and tied for seventh in steals (2.8 spg).

The Ospreys started their season with four consecutive wins, including three victories by at least 23 points.

Stockton will play two conference games this week, visiting The College of New Jersey 6 p.m. Wednesday and hosting Ramapo 1 p.m. Saturday.
