Stockton University volleyball player Rebecka Zabilowicz earned more recognition Wednesday, being named the Eastern College Athletic Conference Metro Defensive Player of the Week.

It is the fourth time this season Zabilowicz won the award. The senior libero earned her fifth New Jersey Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week award of the season Monday.

Zabilowicz had 10 digs and three aces in a win over Rutgers-Camden on Oct. 11 and 17 digs in a sweep of Rowan on Oct. 13. She finished her week with 21 digs against Stevenson and 24 against Bethany on Saturday.

She leads the NJAC and is 42nd in the country with 5.43 digs per set. She is sixth in Stockton history with 1,545 career digs and holds the season record with 706, which she set last season on her way to being named the NJAC Defensive Player of the Year.

The Ospreys (18-9, 6-1 NJAC) will play four matches at the Swarthmore Garnet Classic on Friday and Saturday.
