The Richard Stockton College women’s tennis team won three flights at the New Jersey Association of Inter-collegiate Athletics for Women tennis tournament at Drew University in Madison on Sunday.

The Ospreys also won the consolation bracket in two flights at the two-day tournament. Two other players were runners-up.

Stockton’s Sydni Fahringer (Mainland Regional) won flight B with a 7-5, 6-4 victory in the championship match. She also won quarterfinal and semifinal matches.

Kristy Faren won Flight C, beating Stockton teammate Scout Bauer 7-5, 7-6 in the final. They also won quarterfinal and semifinal matches.

Two Ospreys also met for the Flight B title, and Gianna Letinski (Barnegat) beat Tara Varga on a 10-8 super-tiebreaker after they had split two sets. Both also won two matches to reach the final.

Stockton’s Krystle Bendijo (Egg Harbor Township) and Laura Church both lost in the regular draw but rebounded to win consolation brackets. Bendijo won the consolation bracket in Flight A and Church in Flight B.

Three other teams participated in the tournament, which had no team scoring.

Stockton travels to Kean University on Tuesday for a 4 p.m. match in its final week of the fall season.
