Eagles fans were everywhere in New Orleans over the weekend and on Monday. Bourbon Street was jammed Sunday night and Monday afternoon with green and white jerseys, T-shirts and hats. The Eagles also had a fairly sizeable fan contingent in the Mercedez Benz Superdome for the game.

The Eagles had a chance to close to within four points after they recovered a fumble on a kickoff in the third quarter but were forced to settle for a 37-yard field goal by place-kicker Alex Henery.
Eagles’ best play
Quarterback Michael Vick and wide receiver DeSean Jackson teamed up for a 77-yard touchdown in the third quarter that was the Eagles’ longest scoring play this season. Vick hit Jackson with a 40-yard pass, then Jackson got past Saints safety Malcolm Jenkins and raced to the end zone.
Eagles’ worst play
Vick’s pass in the first quarter bounced off tight end Brent Celek’s hand. Robinson intercepted it and raced untouched for a 99-yard TD that gave the Saints a 7-0 lead.
