Reports of big flounder in Absecon Inlet just keep on coming in. The latest was Wednesday morning when Sam Storino caught a 7-pound, 2-ounce flounder while fishing on Tara Lynn with Tom Tucker.
Riptide Bait and Tackle in Brigantine reported that was one of seven keepers they got on an all-morning drift. Storino got the big one with Gulp.
Howard Sefton said this has been the best year ever for weighing 5- to 7-pound flounder at Captain Howard's Bait and Tackle in Egg Harbor City. Sefton also said the spot that are everywhere along the beach, inlets and back bays are also all the way up in the Mullica River and creeks. He said minnows are plentiful, too.
