Who’s back: Ilya Bryzgalov, Michael Leighton

Who’s new: Brian Boucher

Who’s gone: Sergei Bobrovsky

Key stat: Bryzgalov’s goals-against average was 1.43 in March but 2.79 the rest of last season.

Outlook: It’s like 2010 all over again — almost. Leighton is back after two years in the minors. Boucher is the third-stringer after being reacquired from Carolina in a trade Sunday. If either of them ends up getting extended playing time, however, then the Flyers likely will be in trouble. With a questionable defense, they badly need Bryzgalov to be the elite goalie he was in Phoenix before signing a nine-year, $51 million deal with the Flyers before last season.
