Philadelphia Flyers prospects will participate in the annual "Trial on the Isle" training camp and media event in Stone Harbor today.

Goalie prospect Anthony Stolarz, a Jackson Township, Ocean County, native, will be among the prospects at the event. Other notables include 2012 first-round pick Scott Laughton, who started last season with the Flyers before going back to juniors; 2013 first-round pick Sam Morin; and Shayne Gostisbehere, who helped Union College win ECAC Hockey championships the past two seasons in Atlantic City.

Local residents are invited to start the day watching a development minicamp led by Flyers director of player development Ian Laperriere and head athletic trainer/strength and condition coach Jim McCrossin at 9 a.m., with warmups on 96th Street beach followed by a run to 121st Street.

At 10:15 a.m., watersports activities will be held at the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor at 9001 Sunset Drive.

The Flyers' prospects will be available to sign autographs at the Stone Harbor Elementary School from 1:15 to 2:45 p.m.

Admission is $10, with all proceeds donated to Flyers Charities, a division of the Comcast-Spectacor Foundation. Attendees will receive a team photo of the Flyers' prospects.

Beginning at noon, fans 14-and-under are invited to participate in a free "Hooked on Hockey" clinic at the elementary school, led by Flyers alumnus Bob "The Hound" Kelly.

To end the day, the prospects will compete in a volleyball tournament starting at 3 p.m. near 96th Street beach. Visit
