Approximately 75 golfers will take a shot at winning the Atlantic Auto Group Million Dollar Shootout on Friday at McCullough’s Emerald Golf Links in Egg Harbor Township.
The competition begins at 6 p.m. at the 18th fairway. Golfers must reach the green from three distances — 100 yards, 130 and 150. The closest to the pin on the third round wins a 2013 membership to McCullough’s and takes a shot at winning $1 million from 165 yards.
The event is open to the public.
Golfers qualified for the contest during weekly competitions this summer at McCullough’s. Some golfers are given special invitations by the Atlantic Auto Group and McCullough’s.
