Holy Spirit basketball player B.J. Bailey verbally commits to attend Boston University

Holy Spirit High School senior-to-be B.J. Bailey has one year left to try to win the state basketball title that escaped the Spartans last season.

Win or lose, Bailey's basketball career will be far from over when his days at Holy Spirit are done.

Bailey verbally committed Monday to play at Boston University, a decision that he and his coach say will provide the best transition for him as a player and a student.

"I wanted to go to a school that had good academics and athletics, and wasn't too far from home." Bailey said Friday. "I visited Boston earlier this month and just loved it." More
