Former Penn State University swimmer Josh Wakeley, of Galloway Township, finished 76th out of 139 in the 200-meter butterfly in a time of 2 minutes, 3.44 seconds Wednesday at the U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials in Omaha, Neb.

Former St. Augustine Prep and University of Florida swimmer Mike Joyce, of Washington Township, was 89th in the same event in 2:03.90. Joyce will swim the 200 individual medley on Friday.

Former St. Augustine Prep and University of Pennsylvania swimmer Brendan McHugh will compete today in the men's 200-meter breaststroke. Ventnor resident Colleen Callahan will swim in the women's 200-meter breaststroke on Friday.
