Tara Booker (Absegami) scored 18 points, including the 1,000th of her career, and added nine rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block for George Washington in a 61-60 win over Howard in Washington on Saturday. Booker also converted a four-point play with six seconds remaining to complete a 13-point comeback. She has 1,007 points. Sara Mostafa (Absegami), who missed two games with an injury, had nine rebounds, five points and one assist for the Colonials.
MEN
Josh Thompson (St. Augustine Prep) had four assists, three points and two rebounds for Wagner in a 77-65 overtime win over Coppin State in New York.
