Lacey Township girls cross country
Leavitt won her second straight South Jersey Group III cross country title at Delsea Regional this past weekend.
The junior ran the 3.1-mile course in 18 minutes, 23 seconds.
She had the fastest time in the Group III race by 24 seconds and the fastest of the entire meet by 18 seconds.
Leavitt’s win qualifies her for the state group championships this Saturday at Holmdel Park.

Atlantic County Institute of Technology boys soccer
Henry scored two goals and had an assist as 10th-seeded Atlantic County Institute of Technology won its first playoff game in the school’s first varsity season and upset seventh-seeded Cedar Creek 3-1 in a South Jersey Group II first-round game.
He leads the Redhawks in scoring along with his twin brother Andrew.
