Swimmer of the Year

Colleen Callahan

Atlantic City, Fr.

The freshman was the only female CAL swimmer to win at the Meet of Champions when she took first in the 200 Individual Medley (2:04.73) and the 100 breaststroke (1:03.70). Led the Vikings to a program-best 14-1 record and their first CAL American Conference title. She also helped Atlantic City to its first South Public A sectional title.

Erin Curry

Mainland Reg., Jr.

Had a fourth-place finish in the 200 IM at the MOC. Finished second in the same event at the CAL Meet. Took first in the 100 freestyle at the Hackney Meet.

Rachel Wuko, Wildwood Cath., So.

Finished third at the MOC in the 50 freestyle and seventh in the 100 backstroke. Placed first in both events at the CAL Individual Meet. Won the 50 freestyle at the Hackney Meet and the South Jersey Coaches Inviational.

Tara Wuko, Wildwood Cath., Sr.

Took first in the 100 freestyle at the CAL meet and was second in Division B at the South Jersey Coaches Meet. Finished eighth in the 100 free at the MOC.

Michelle Heinemann, Egg Harbor Twp., Sr.

First-time Press All-Star won the CAL Individual girls diving title with a score of 167.55 and finished third overall in Division A of the South Jersey Coaches 6-dive meet at GCIT.

Laura Morrison

Holy Spirit, Jr.

Finished 10th in the 200 freestyle and ninth in the 500 freestyle at the MOC. During the regular season, she won the 200 and 400 freestyle title at the CAL Individuals and the Hackney Meet.

Rosemary Christian

Atlantic City, Sr.

Finished 10th in the 100 breaststroke at the MOC and third in the same event at the South Jersey Coaches Meet.

Melissa Toy

Atlantic City, Fr.

The sprinter was runner up in the 50 freestyle at the CAL Individuals along with two relay wins.

Also finished third in the 100 freestyle at the CAL championships and the Hackneys.

Ayana Cox

Atlantic City, Fr.

Finished third in the 50 freestyle at the CAL championships and qualified for the event in the MOC. She won the 50 freestyle and the 100 backstroke in playoff wins over Vineland and Eastern.

Lauren Carastro

Vineland, Jr.

Finished third in the 200 IM at the CAL Championships. At the MOC, she finished 14th in the 100 breaststroke.

Molly Gondolf

Oakcrest, Sr.

Returned to swim for the Falcons after a short freshman season with the team. Finished second in the 200 and 400 freestyle at the CAL Meet. At the MOC, she was 15th in the 200 freestyle. Will swim at Lafayette.

Katie Adams

Mainland Reg., So.

Finished 13th in the MOC 200 freestyle and 16th in the 500 freestyle. She was runner-up in the 200 freestyle at the Hackney Meet.

Kelsey Thomas

Holy Spirit, Sr.

Helped the Spartans to a 9-2 record and their fourth straight CAL National Conference title. She finished 15th at the MOC in the 100 breaststroke.
