Cape May Tech freshman Lindsay Robbins was the winner of the girls race at the South Jersey Tech State Cross Country Championships in 20 minutes, 41 seconds on Wednesday at Burlington County Tech.
The Cape May Tech girls team was second in team scoring with 58 points against three other schools, and the Hawks boys team was second out of seven teams with 77 points. Gloucester County Institute of Technology won both team titles, with 24 points in the girls race and 23 in the boys race.
Cape May Tech’s Jayne Seitz was 10th in the girls race in 22:21, and Jenna Kraft was 14th in 23:46.
Leo Zaccaria was fifth for Cape May Tech in 16:48 in the boys race, 21 seconds behind winner Zaire Carter of Medford Tech. Ryan Cleffi was 10th for the Hawks in 18:15, and Sean Wilson placed 13th in 18:30.
