St. Joseph High School’s Emily DeMarco scored three goals and added an assist to lead the Wildcats to a 6-0 win over Schalick on Monday a South Jersey Group I field hockey semifinal game in Hammonton.

St. Joseph is ranked ninth in The Press Elite 11.

The top-seeded Wildcats (20-1) host a Group I South Jersey final at a date to be determined.

Schalick, the defending South Jersey champion, is 9-9-1.

DeMarco, a junior, scored twice in the first half and once in the second, and leads the area with 38 goals. Carlina Sacco, Ryan Qucksill and Marielena Dottoli each scored a goal. Becky Boffo made two saves for her 11th shutout of the season.

Paxton Allen had 15 stops for the Cougars, seeded fourth.

Schalick and St. Joseph met the previous three years in the South Jersey Group I final, with the Cougars winning 2-1 in double-overtime last year.

Krista LaMaina scored two goals and had two assists for host Collingswood (20-1), the second-ranked team in the Elite 11.

Teammate Kelly Rodgers had two goals and one assist. Goalie Becca Hall had to make one save for the shutout.

Barnegat’s Jenn Zaun had nine saves.

Top-seeded Collingswood hosts fourth-seeded Woodstown in a semifinal at a date to be determined.

Kingsway’s Caleigh West scored the winning goal with 4 minutes, 52 seconds left in the first half.

Danni Hall added a goal in the second half.

Connie Stafford recorded the shutout with three saves.

Oakcrest’s Rachel Geibler had nine saves.

The second-seeded Dragons will host the winner between No. 3 Lacey Township and sixth-seeded Delsea Regional in a South Jersey semifinal at a date to be determined.
