The Buena Regional High School field hockey team scored twice in the second half and beat visiting Vineland 2-0 in a Cape-Atlantic League game Tuesday.

Madi Akins made it 1-0 with 12 minutes, 17 seconds left in regulation. Buena freshman Aaliyah Baez scored her first varsity goal with less than four minutes left, and Kacey Jones assisted.

Emily Olive made six saves for the shutout. Vineland keeper Milenia Vasquez had 20 saves.
