The Ocean City High school golf team defeated Millville and Vineland with a score of 153 in a Cape-Atlantic League match at the Greate Bay Golf Club Wednesday. Millville followed with 186 and Vineland shot 234 at the par-35 course.

Jack Sullivan shot match-low 36 and two birdies for the Red Raiders (5-1). Isaac Royster shot a 38 followed by Craig Nordberg with a 39 and Josh Brown with a 40. Both Royster and Nordberg shot a birdie apiece as well.

Jack Beck led Millville (4-4) with a 42. Other scorers for the Thunderbolts included Mike Resch (47), Tim Wright (48) and Josh Demaio (49).

Vineland’s (2-2) Kevin London led with a 48. Other scores were Cody Mason (50), Trevor Farniaccio (68) and Dre Pangiotopoulous (68).

No. 1 St. Augustine 156,

No. 11 Mainland Reg. 171

Drue Nicholas led the St. Augustine Prep golf team (4-0) shooting a 37, including two birdies to defeat Mainland Regional (2-4) at Buena Vista Country Club on Wednesday. Mike DeLong followed with a 38 and Jonathan Prussel with a 39. Owen Halderman shot a 42 for the Hermits.

Mainland’s Michael Mitnick led with a 39 and Camille O’Halloran followed with a 40. O’Halloran had two birdies and Mitnick had one. Madeline Kent and Noah Dix added a 46 each for the Mustangs (2-4).

Brick Township 207

Caleb Rossi shot a 41 for Southern Regional (5-0), the No. 7 school in The Press Elite 11, at the par-36 Ocean Acres Country Club. Other Ram’s scorers: Peter Fabian (42), Chris D’Alessandro (44), Jonathan Sheehan (48).

Austin Carney shot a 40 with two birdies to lead Pinelands Reigonal (6-0) at the Cedar Creek Golf Course, par-36. Conor Carney also had a birdie and scored a 44. Other Wildcats scorers: Kayla Gutierrez (44), Ben DeFiglio (46).

Brian Huebler carded a team-high 43 for Lacey (3-4). Other Lacey scorers: Patrick Zuccarelli (47), Matthew Dolan (50), Brandon Piserchia (52).

Andrew Kapp shot a 41 and P.J. Schulte carded a 44 each with a birdie for Middle Township (4-0) at the Cape May National Golf Course, par-36. Other Panthers’ scorers: Pete Conlin (45), Vincent Lamanna (48).

Tatum Henry carded a 43 for the Braves (2-5) at the Seaview Golf Course, par-36. Other Absegami scorers: Will Stanwood (52), Brian Deviney (61), Andrew Waldman (62).

Atlantic City (0-4) scorers: Andrew Mangel (51), Madison Brestle (56), Jay Kapagiawala (58), Megan Hankinson (65).

Wildwood Catholic 202,

Buena Regional 221

Taylor Ohntrup shot a 43 as Wildwood Catholic High as it earned its first victory of the season, defeating Buena Regional at par-36 The Shore Club.

The Crusaders’ Matt Vogdes shot a 46, while Jared Hopping shot a 55. Dennis Libro (58) rounded out Wildwood Catholic’s top scores as it improved to 1-5.

Angelo Piazza (48) led the Chiefs, while Trivigno Scotti shot a 55. Josh Chezum sot a 56 and Michael Blasberg shot a 62. Buena fell to 0-5.

Penns Grove 231

Wildwood 240

Nick Verdecchio shot a 52 for Penns Grove (2-4) to defeat Wildwood (2-4) at the par-36 course. Other scorers included Deondre Pollard (58), Kevin Halpert (59), Linda Scott (62).

Robert Little led Wildwood with 53. Other scorers were Jaxon Tomlin (61), Ahmed Benmiled (62) and Jared Lopez (63).
