The goal of many high school football players is to earn a college scholarship. Here's a list of some local players who are being recruited or have already verbally committed to attend an NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision or Football Championship Subdivision school.

Nothing is official until the first Wednesday in February (Feb. 5, 2014) when NCAA regulations allow athletes to sign binding National Letters of Intent.

These players are listed in alphabetical order. If a college is listed, the player has verbally committed.
