Pitcher Scott DeCecco (Middle Township) did not see action Fridat night as his Class-A Everett (Wash.) AquaSox (Mariners) beat the Tri-City Dust Devils (Rockies) 2-1 in a Northwest League opener.

Outfielder Alexi Colon (St. Augustine Prep) did not see action as his Eugene Emeralds (Padres) defeated the Yakima Bears (Diamondbacks) 6-5 in 10 innings in a Northwest League game.

Outfielder Matt Szczur (Lower Cape May Regional) of the Daytona Cubs of the Advanced Class A Florida State League could be back in the lineup as early as Monday. He is on the disabled list with a strained knee.

Darren Ford (Vineland) remained on the disabled list (broken finger) for the Tacoma Rainiers (Mariners) in the triple-A Pacific Coast League. Ford, an outfielder, has yet to play this season.
