The Oakcrest High School boys soccer team defeated Ocean City for the first time in 10 years by a 1-0 score in double-overtime Thursday in a Cape-Atlantic League American Conference Division II game.

Oakcrest coach Joe Seaman said the last time the Falcons defeated the Red Raiders was in 2002.

Quinn Hardrick scored the game's only goal 4 minutes into the second overtime period. Hardrick took the ball after an Ocean City free kick, dribbled past three defenders and got the ball past Ocean City goalie Evan McCardell.

Oakcrest goalie Ryan Costello stopped 12 shots for the shutout. McCardell had eight saves.
