The Ocean City High School field hockey team, ranked third in The Press Elite 11, beat visiting Timber Creek 6-0 Saturday in a South Jersey Group III quarterfinal game.

Courtney Allen and Leah Davies each scored to give O.C. a 2-0 halftime lead, and Jordan Allegretto added two goals in the second half. Kelly Hanna had two assists. Katie Johnson made two saves for the sbutout.

Ocean City, the top seed, hosts a semifinal game on Friday against the winner of today's 10 a.m. quarterfinal game between No. 5 Hammonton and host Mainland Regional, the fourth seed.
